Invasion of the Arabs (712-739)

712 The Arabs conquered Indus valley, expanding the Umayyad Caliphate. Beginning  of spreading of Islam in western India (nowadays Pakistan). In the first half of the 8th century a series of battles took place between the Umayyad Caliphate and the Indian kingdoms to the east of the Indus river. Zoroastrians (Parsis) started to come to India.
739 Confederacy of Indian kings defeat Arab Umayyad Caliphate invasion attempts in the battle of Rajasthan.
