Sachen Künga Nyingpo
Sachen Künga Nyingpo (1092 – 1158) was one of the “five honorable masters“ who brought the Sakya tradition to its fruition. He was the son of the founder the Sakyapas, Khön Könchog Gyalpo, the first throne holder Sakya Thridzin. Sachen himself became the third.
He systemized the Sakya teachings, furthermore he became famous because of his works on the Hevajra Tantra and the systematical teachings of Lamdre (path and fruition). Therefore, he is seen as an emanation both of Loving Eyes and Wisdom Buddha.
