Lama Rongtön

Lama Rongtön (Rangton Lhaga), a Nyingmapa, was the first teacher Milarepa had when
he started to change his life after regretting all his previous terrible deeds.

He taught him some Nyingma philosophies. When this proved to be ineffective, Rongtön sent Milarepa to ask Marpa to teach him.
