Katok Tsewang Norbu


Katok Tsewang Norbu (1698-1755) was an important Nyingma teacher and scholar, who cultivated certain old Buddhist teachings, which were banned by the Gelugpas within the Nyingma tradition.

He was the head of the Katok Monastery and was famous for his works about the so called „Empty of Other“ theory and the Kalachakra Tantra.
