Dilgo Khyentse Rinoche, Tashi Paljor

Dilgo Khyentse Rinoche, Tashi Paljor (1910-1991) was the head of the Nyingma school
from 1988-1991 and one of the greatest Vajrayana master of the 20th century, as well as a
tertön, scholar, poet and teacher.

He was born in the Denma region of Derge in Kham. One of his brothers was the 9th Sangye Nyenpa.
He, as well as the 16th Karmapa, were teachers of the 10th Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche, who was born in 1964.
