Chitherpa and Paindapa

Chitherpa, who was born in Nepal, and Paindapa were two of Naropa’s main students who lived in/near Kathmandu.

Every time Marpa came down from Tibet he stayed with them to get used to the hot climate (by Marpa’s third jouney, Paindapa had already died).
