Barom Dharma Wangchuk
Barom Dharma Wangchuk (1127-1194) was one of Gampopa’s main students and founder
of the Barom Kagyü school, one of the four major Kagyü branches.
He was very close to Gampopa and saved his live several times. When Gampopa passed
away, he made a 100,000 clay images (tsatsas), containing the ashes of his teacher’s body.
