9th Shamarpa Geway Jungney

The 9th Shamarpa, Geway Jungney, (1733-1741) was born in Paro, Buthan and died young although Khatog Rigdzin had asked him to quickly come to Tibet so that they can perform a long-live practice for him.

Unfortunately, Kahtog Rigdzin Rinpoche died and due to the bad political conditions during that time, the practitioners of the monastery, who before invited the young Shamarpa, didn’t dare anymore to prepare the ceremony for him.
