6th Gyaltsab Rinpoche, Norbu Sangpo

The 6th Gyaltsab Rinpoche, Norbu Sangpo (1660-1698) was one of the teachers of the 11th Karmapa. He wrote numerous commentaries.

There is one source from the Gyaltsab administration that claims that Gyaltsab was a student of the 10th Karmapa. The 10th Karmapa had at least given the hint where to find the rebirth of the 5th Gyaltsab Rinpoche.
