5th Trungpa Tulku, Tenpa Namgyal

The 5th Trungpa Tulku, Tenpa Namgyal (1633-1712) is an incarnation of the Trungpa reincarnation line, which holds both the Karma Kagyü as well as the Nyingma tradition. The main seat of the Trungpas is Surmang Monastery in Kham.
