3rd Tai Situ, Tashi Paljor

The 3rd Tai Situ, Tashi Paljor (1498-1541), he was a student of the 7th Karmapa. He recognized the 8th Karmapa by means of showing him items that had belonged to the 7th Karmapa; this was possibly the first time such a method was used to identify reincarnations.
