1st Tewo Lungzang Nangwa, Lobzang Samten

The 1st Tewo Lungzang Nangwa, Lobzang Samten (1687-1749) was a scholar and practitioner of the Gelug school, who founded the seat of his reincarnation lineage and monastery in Ganden with the name Ganden Jangchub Chopel Ling.

He was a close disciple of the 5th Dalai Lama.
