1st Beru Khyentse Lodrö Mizay Jampey Gocha

The 1st Beru Khyentse Lodrö Mizay Jampey Gocha (1896-1945) was born in Kham as the son of the King Beru. It is said that he was the speech incarnation of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. His rebirth was already predicted to his father before.

Beru Rinpoche was recognized by the 1st Jamgön Kongtrul Lodrö Thaye and later enthroned in Palpung Monastery, where he stayed.
